SetReady was created to give aspiring filmmakers and crew from New Jersey’s underserved communities a real shot at success. We provide no-cost, certified training for film and television careers, led by union-affiliated, working professionals. Our goal is simple: build a more inclusive, prepared, and local workforce that’s ready when the cameras roll.

SetReady prepares participants for real jobs on real sets. You’ll gain skills in:

• Production Assistant Fundamentals

• Camera Department & Assistant Camera Basics

• On-Set Safety & Protocol

• Post-Production & Editorial Tools

• Resume Building & Interview Coaching

• Job Placement + Union Navigation Support

🙋 Who Should Apply?

• Residents of New Jersey from overburdened or underserved communities

• Age 18+

• No prior film experience required

• Passionate about building a career in film, TV, or digital media
